A yoke is also a collar, shackle, or any other form of restraint. Likewise, I am talking about forms of bondage and control in a spiritual sense. Thus, wearing a yoke connotes a sense of servitude and misery. Being burdened is another way of saying this.
Wearing a yoke of bondage is a fitting metaphor for this topic because a person bound by a collar of affliction must obey their master. And when one is suffering the oppression of Lack, loss, and misfortune, your taskmaster is a demonic entity. Indeed, you are being oppressed by the system governed and influenced by Satan.
Sacred writings make it clear that there are demons, or evil spirits, in the world that interfere in people’s lives. Evil forces, or powers, always try to influence and control the lives of every individual.
