Wrongfully judged. Prayer For Others Not To Judge Me.

No one should judge the worth or value of anyone by their outward appearance. Judging a book by its cover is wrong. Yet, society is very judgemental. And praying is the best way to deal with it. Indeed, prayer is a potent tool. If being judged, put it in God’s hands.

People often make snap decisions regarding other people. When judging, the comparison is more about a person’s strengths and weaknesses and has little to do with the other person.

Even though a judgment is based on a person’s opinion, it is perceived as truth by them. And You won’t be able to change their perception. But God can. Thus prayer is needed.

Jesus’s command about making a judgment is one of the most often quoted things He said. Even though it is almost always used out of context. Jesus said: “Don’t judge, or you’ll be judged too” (Matthew 7:1).

Many people try to shut down their critics by quoting that verse. They usually misuse the quote to excuse some type of misconduct. Jesus was not saying, Anything goes. Thus, it does not give anyone the right to go around acting up or misbehaving.

The quote refers explicitly to incorrectly passing judgment on someone. Jesus meant you should not be judging others. And by no means should anyone be judging you. So if you are being wrongfully judged, it’s time to put it in God’s hands. Let’s Pray!
